Edit 64bit dialog resources using vs 2005 pro ?

Hello,

I used vs 2005(32bit) to edit 64bit resources embeded into dlls - and it
worked.
Until I tried to edit/view 64bit dialog resources - vs 2005 doesn't show
Dialog type resources at all.
I took windows 7 dll as an example - it doesnt show dialog resources where
they should be.

Possible to use vs 2005 32bit to edit/view 64bit dialog resources ?
If no what version I need ?

There are no differences between the resource in 32 and 64 bit dlls.

And a 32 bit windows 7 dll worked?

You did not see any resources because there are none.
Window 7 has resources in resource-only dlls, outside the executable
containing the code.
For instance the resources for C:\Windows\System32\comctl32.dll
are in C:\Windows\System32\en-US\comdlg32.dll.mui
