I plan to download some large Win32 games and put them on a flash
drive for two systems. The drive letter shouldn't change across the
systems unless I decide to compress some of the games with WinMount.
What do I need to know to do this?

You need to confirm that the game doesn't require any components to be
registered/put in system locations.
If they do, you can try playing around with side by side manifests but
you're on your own then unless the author is willing to help you.

(I assume the licence allows you to do this too? :)
